Similar to the automatic braking system, the rear automatic braking system is designed to detect objects near your vehicle’s rear. If the rear braking system detects an object, and you fail to apply the brake, the system will automatically brake for you to avoid an impact.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
One of the newest features in new Nissans is the rear cross traffic alert. This new safety feature is perfect for those tricky parking situations. As you back out of a parking spot, the rear cross traffic alert system is designed to send an audio alert to let you know that there is an incoming vehicle behind you.

Blind Spot Warning
Also available is the blind spot warning. This feature can help you see what may not be visible at the time. The blind spot warning will alert you when it detects another vehicle has entered your blind spot area, and chimes to let you know someone is there.
