History
Born at the beach, The Greene Turtle was founded by college pals, Steve Pappas and Tommy Dickerson. They purchased the beloved ocean city English-style pub and transformed it into a beloved sports fanatic’s dream. After a few years, they opened another branch in Baltimore’s popular Fells Point neighborhood. As of today, there are nearly 30 different locations across the Mid-Atlantic region on the United States. The Greene Turtle celebrated their 40th anniversary back in 2016, but they are far from slowing down!
On the Menu
Every meal at The Greene Turtle needs to start off with something from their Sharables menu. Smokehouse nachos, loaded tater tots, and their world famous crab dip are just a few of the many options they serve as appetizers. They have juicy burgers, spicy tacos, and a large variety of handhelds that are sure to leave you full but yearning for seconds. Their iconic baskets and bowls are filled to the brim with flavor. You absolutely cannot leave without taking a peek at their dessert menu. There’s no better way to finish off a meal than with their funnel cake fries or Smith Island cake!
