Get Creative With Your Air Fryer This Fall

Air fryer sitting on the counterEvery day it seems like we are getting busier and busier. Making home-cooked meals, much less meals with dessert at the end, is nearly impossible to pull off in today’s busy world. That’s where the air fryer comes into play. From apple pies, churros, beignets, and much more, no longer do after-dinner desserts have to be a thing of the past. Try these creative air fryer desserts from All Recipes for an easy, tasty weeknight dessert.

Air Fryer Apple Pies

Traditionally, making an apple pie could be considered to be an all-day affair, but not any more thanks to the air fryer. All you’ll need to do is toss your apple pie filling on to a pie crust and then cover it up with another layer of pie crust. Once you’ve done this, cut a few slits in the crust, and crimp the edges with a fork to seal them. Spray the bottom of your air fryer with cooking spray and set the temperature to 385 degrees. Let the cook under golden brown, which should be around 8 minutes. For an added touch, sprinkle powdered sugar on the finished pies for an even sweeter taste.

Air Fryer Roasted Bananas

These delicious treats are even easier to make than the apple pies as they are made with only two ingredients, and can be ready to eat in just ten minutes. All you’ll need to do is place sliced bananas into your air fryer, and drizzle a little avocado oil on them. Set your air fryer’s temperature to 375 degrees and let them cook for about five minutes. Then, take the basket out a shake to ensure even cooking. Put the basket back in and continue to cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
